At first blush I'm liking Castillo-160 and Barrett-200. I've never been a fan of betting chalk, but I like these two here.
I met Joel, and he really ain't such a big guy. Castillo is
5'8" and a real lightweight. Maybe too strong for Joel. I saw
how Castillo handled himself against Mayweather and I liked
what I saw. Barrett is re-inventing himself and versus this Beck guy who hasn't really fought much of anybody, I like
his chances. Noticed line movement towards Donald over
Holyfield. Hmmm?

I actually opened Holyfield at -135 the week of October 13th. Hope you dont mind me chiming iunto you guys threads, but when it comes to statistical data, I may be of service from time to time. Allotta morons have a huge conspiracy theory that I actually care what you guys bet. I never ever steer guys and just try to throw in FACTUAL info as opposed to alotta BS and shilling that goes on in these forums. I just want to promote interest in the sport and wagering on it as opposed to private agendas...........it really doesnt matter what or where you bet at. A line is there for 1 reason, to be wagered on one side or the other.

So to comment on on Holyfield, there HASbeen alot of Donald money coming in. Its questions like this that I am probably more qualified than most because I KNOW the openers and where the majority of the money falls in many bouts. I have EVERY bout in my database of every boxing and MMA match since 1998 ..........and some before that.........that has had either a side or total on it. Naturally I would not share that entire disc with anyone, but feel free to pop any questions that may have you guys on the fence. Barrett is a little low for a reason, but I'm sure Spinchter or one of you guyss will weed that one out as it takes a closer look.

BTW, Sheika just got bet pretty good along with the under. It was -2200 less than 45 mins ago. Best of luck to you guys.

Joey, Love having you in the threads. All of your insight is greatly appreciated. I dont think Sheika stands a chance, but his chin may keep him in the fight. Castillo, I really like, esp at 160.

Thanks for responding. I really get bored because I eat, drink and sleep boxing and especially MMA. It's nice to chat with guys that share the same passion. Many of you guys have been really kool and I've made a few freinds along the way. :)

what about Williamson-McCall??? I havent seen Mccall in a long time, but he cant have much left. Hasnt fought top competition in a long time and is almost 40. Williamson has some good pop, but is small, and just fought last month. He must feel good aobut this taking it on such short notice. Surprised to see he is jumping back so quick

You and I have gotten along very well because we are both honest with each other. Neither of us have tried to steer the other the wrong way despite being on opposite sides of the counter. The forums are pretty usefull for people looking for feedback from others but I don't think they make a huge difference on lines. A ton of gambler's have no idea about place like these. Until Joey gave me the link I didn't know about them until around a year ago :banger: Joey's a good friend and thankfully not a shill who comes in here over and over mentioning the website they work for and giving bad numbers. :kicking:

almy, I would be more than happy to discuss anything via chat or private email, but i cant allow myself to be opened up in these forums for obvious reasons.

Valdosta is a true and dear friend, all bizness aside, our relationship is one through esatablished trust and respect. He is bar n0one the best freind that I have ever come into contact with through the forums. I do speak with dozens of posters stateside as well. Louis Cypher, Buck Swope, Hockeystyle, DrkGoon, Actuary, and the list goes on. Its a 2 way sreet with us, and thats a hard thing to come across in forums and so on. Feel free to drop me an email anytime and I would be more than happy to hoook you up with a you a phone number where we could talk shop as well. I'm sdure it may give you a better understanding of how things honestly work offshore. Its your choice. I'm noy as big of a 'nut' in real life. LOL. I'm reachable at Joeybagels@hotmail.com.

Either way, best of luck. I'm always around. MMA and boxing is HUGE part of my life and my life is good. Don't feel like you are being a pest. I read your stuff and I think you love the sport as well. Best of luck.

I sent you an email Joey. Hey Franks, can you let us know if you see a local line on the Castillo fight thats less than -160? I know Tommy over at Mandalay will put one up since the fights over there.

JOey

the large amount of data you have collected on boxing to see line moves and all seems very useful (since 1998)

How do you use that past info on line moves and betting lines to help you sort out the next big fight? What are the types of indicators that point to being on the right side of a fight? Do you find that you can nail sides or totals easier??
(Also what is MMA?)

what shops are your best outs for boxing besides OLY and Pinny? I use 5 dimes some for example.

thanksl

At almly; Was at Mandalay just 2 hours ago. They've only

got Wright-Mosley up. Surely there will be a line, I agree.
If I see, I will note it here.

Thanx alot, Mandalay is like the worst on the strip now with fight lines. Theyre the only casino on the strip that I went to that didnt have a Gatti vs Dorin line up and I pretty much hit every one on the strip. Aladdin, Venetian, Paris, all the ones that you would think might not have it up did but not Mandalay.

Do you remember what Mandalay had Wright vs Mosely at? The price is not Wright for me offshore anymore.

No Heavy action here!

As we discussed, I'd stay away from all the name heavy fights, including this Beck fight, that are coming up soon, personally. Too many downsides- known and unknown- to every fighter. Re: Holy-Donald, Holy's capable of fighting maybe 45 seconds a round these days, but that's 45 more than Donald tends to fight whenever he's in with a live opponent. But if he's ever gonna be any kind of a player again, this is his chance. If I were forced to bet any of these fights, I'd take Rahman over Meehan, but I was at Rahman's struggle a few months back against Al Cole- I had it a draw! I concur on the lightweight fight, Casamayor vastly talented but unmotivated and maybe somewhat chinny at this weight, sheer strength differential should do him in. Switching topics, there are reports that Barrera is looking quite sharp in camp- I had thought Morales the clear pick, but MAYBE there's another one to weigh the risk on?

i `m wondering if joey`s talking about the fact that beck is a carl king managed fighter?.....

it could be relevant if it gets to the cards...i noticed that beck`s been on the canvas vs some dubious opposition....

still, barrett`s not a world beater....still wondering if guinn was drugged in that fight..lol..he looked like lamon brewster vs meehan.....almost inanimate....

Yes Sphinct, Carl King had something to do with it, but as I suspected, the bout appears to be OFF now for another month. Alotta political bs goin on w/ DK and the networks. Sounds nuts, but 24-0 Beck may 'carry' the next DK Heavyweight card. He couldnt carry much at 24-1, or 24-0-1. Waiting another day to cancel wagers in case it gets resceduled soon or somehow ends up going.

Bump-Castillo-Casamajor

Did'nt want to start a new thread, but would like to initiate
discussion on this one. We'll be at ringside for this and I already invested in Castillo. Again, bigger man, height advantage, and I really feel he AT LEAST should have had a draw versus Mayweather if not the W. I think Casamajor is a world class guy to be sure and he has been in tough more than once. Would sure like some other perspectives.
